I had not been to any sand dunes on my dirtbike and I wanted to know how well my kx500 (1998) would do with no paddle tire; just knobbies. I couldn’t find any answers by google so I am uploading this vid to show others. The bike did very well; There was no place it wouldn’t take me and I didn’t fall at all. Update- I just put a paddle tire on and rode at glamis and the paddle tire makes quite a difference. I was popping wheelies up comp hill in 3rd gear. Overall I would say paddles made me go about 50% faster than knobbies.
