Chinese cultural groups from all over the state and the world converged on Ala Moana Beach Park on Aug. 13 to participate in the annual Dragon Boat Races, wherein teams paddle enormous (and heavy) carved wooden boats along shore in a race to capture their flag.

At the Paddle for Pink in Mercer County Park, NJ, a dragon boat capsizes just after passing the finish line. No one was hurt. All got wet.
