to unassemble, this light weight emergency craft
may be stored in a small vehicle’s trunk for a spur of the moment fishing spot, – or can be stored in an apartment, or closet, or under the bed for a
quick response to an emergency flood situation. – - – - – Several models include this folding unit with attached folding oars as a means of propulsion, and with some being designed for stacking several dozen
emergency water crafts upon a single
pallet for retail display, or storage. – - – - – One of the biggest targeted markets may include the same unit being stored within any basement as a stand-by protection to protect any especially valuable items during a sump pump failure or potential flood situation. – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - Launching the craft in the beginning of this video was delayed for a few seconds, as the boat was hung up on some sharp and barely submerged “fill rocks”. The plastic material used for the unit is really quite tough and really difficult to tear or rip. –

Illinois Paddles/Fox River Water Trail Season Ender

This paddle was held by the Illinois Paddling Council to garner support for the Fox River Watertrail and a proposal to build a whitewater park in Aurora.

Paddlers from all clubs were invited. You’ll see paddlers from CASKA, Prairie State Canoeists, Float Your Boat, Chicago Whitewater Association and more. Towards the end of the movie there is footage of the whitewater guys playing in the chutes!
