Wooden Canoe Heritage Association Paddle-by 2007

Members of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (and their families) assemble in July to share what they have and what they know. The event concludes with a parade of canoes, called the Paddle-by. Listen closely and you’ll hear about the canoes and their builders. Some of the boats are very old, and some were built by the paddler. Some are all-wood, some are wood and canvas, and some are birch bark.
