Wha type of kayaking paddle should I get?

I am roughly 5 foot 7 inches, 105 pound male. (I’m 14 years of age). I am looking for a good paddle somewhere from $50 to $75. It is for the Pamlico 100 recreation kayak. Any suggestions?

Inquire at Mohawk Paddles. Size: Raise one arm against a wall, mark its limit. Measure from the floor to that finger limit. Your paddle length. Why did you not buy a paddle when you bought the kayak? Boat shops know how to size paddles and usually carry many kinds. You have many choices: regular, feathered, left fixed, right fixed. Happy Paddling!
