I love going canoeing. One of my favorite things to do in the summer. It’s so peaceful with a few twist and turns that can dump you over, and if you are on a great river, scenic.
I like speedboats, but after about a half hour, I’m good. Canoeing can go all day and never get old.
Speed boat. A need for speed can be satisfied in a much safer way in a boat than a car

A speed boat may be fun, but in a canoe you have time to admire the scenery, see whats under the water and plus it good exercise.

both, i enjoy all water sports and have owned and used, canoes, kayaks, large & small sailboats, row boats and speed boats.
currently i have a 14′ wooden skiff for rowing and moving slowly with a two hp outboard and a 15′ center console with a top speed of about 55mph. both are great fun.
it just depends on weather and where i’m going boating.
