Pulling Together is an annual journey that takes place on the Fraser River and Pacific Ocean waters surrounding Vancouver, BC. On June 24th, 2008 over 225 paddlers and ground support arrived in Hope, BC to embark on a journey of hope, understanding and community. During the 6 day trek the crew visits First Nations communities along the Fraser River while Police and First Nation paddle side by side sharing in the experience. i love being on the canoe journey this was my second time being on the water. it started off with my older sister going then once i was old enough to join with Urban native youth assoication i have been going ever since. its a great place to be, because it gives you something in return. and you gain more friends that will help you in your journey of life. i love the canoe journey!
