Wooden Pirogue/Canoe

This is the 5th boat I’ve built. I’m not going to say what happened to the other four. I finally decided to use 1/2 inch plywood and chill a bit about the weight. Half-inch plywood is so much more forgiving than 1/4 inch or 5/16 and you don’t have to reinforce it with fiberglass and epoxy. I have about 20-30 hours and $50 invested in this boat. She paddles like a dream. I’m planning another one and a full “How To” video series.
