Did anyone get the paddle at home or school?

My mom was from America and was paddled at school. She was rather coy and wouldn’t say much more. What was getting the paddle like?

She also got the paddle at home.
T.Y.R.A. could I ask what you had done and is paddling common in your school?

I got the paddle at school just last week. It’s nothing special you just bend over, he paddles your butt 3 times, it kind of hurts, and you leave.

    It really hurts and you do not want to do something bad ever again. Sticks hurt a lot more though. :(

    I grew up in Tennessee. All the teachers used paddles. The worst was this one teacher that had taken a ping pong paddle and drilled holes in it to make it sting when it hit you. Didn’t get a paddle at home, I had to go and get my own switch.
